On July 7, our member Michael Hartmann gave a talk about how future quantum computers could help to solve complex optimization problems, like plans for rail transport. With much more efficient algorithms, quantum computers could open up new possibilities for making traffic flows or production processes more efficient. The video can be viewed here (video in German).
